WHAT IS LEARN?

The Bucks County Quality Child Care Coalition is a group of individuals and groups committed to supporting quality early care and education for ALL young children in Bucks County.  More than 300 people  have volunteered during the past year to increase awareness of the importance of quality early education.

These individuals serve on the QCCC Board of Directors, participate in a variety of work groups, take part in the Annual Advocacy Breakfast sponsored by the Bucks County Association for the Education of Young Children, communicate with legislators about the value of quality early childhood education, and more.

The Bucks County Quality Childcare Coalition has been chosen by Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) as the Local Education and Resource Network (LEARN) Team for Bucks County. As a county-based group. we are one of 59 LEARN teams across Pennsylvania and are designed to inform, educate, and motivate the community around quality early learning. QCCC also receives state funding through the Northease Regional Key to provide professional development for early educators.
